Awakening Through Yoga and Buddhism: 100 Hour Immersion

with Ashley Sharp, ERYT

February-November 2016
Saturday & Sunday, 1:00-6:00pm each day
Namaste Grand Lake

During this 10-month training we’ll meet monthly to dive deep into the teachings of yoga asana, pranayama (yogic breathing techniques), the teachings of the Buddha and meditation techniques from both traditions. You’ll have the opportunity to complete readings and short writing reflections to integrate the teachings into your life and practice.

Led by senior teacher Ashley Sharp, the group will become a community, working through select teachings monthly. Each participant will receive individual attention from Ashley, and will also work directly with another member of the group to develop skills and share the experience.

  • Breakdown of yoga asana including standing poses, twists, seated poses, backbends and inversions with individual and customized attention to your body.

  • Meditation: including the yogic concentration practices, yoga nidra, vipassana and mindfulness.
