30 Days to Thrive
with Naushon Kabat-Zinn
January 15-February 12, 2020
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” ~ Maya Angelou
Have you ever felt like there is something missing? Like you are going through the motions, and not really connected to the beauty and preciousness of life? Challenge yourself to THRIVE with 30 days of dedicated practice and self-reflection. We will use the tools of daily yoga, meditation, mindfulness, journaling, holistic nutrition, and radical self-care to deepen our awareness and create space for personal growth and healing. We will also have fun in the process as we support one another on this ever-evolving journey of not just surviving but thriving!
The program includes: weekly meetings, unlimited yoga classes, individualized lifestyle and holistic nutritional support, journaling and reading projects. This program will invite you to discover your own unique path to living a juicier, more wakeful, and connected life. Together, as we take this 30-day commitment to practice, we create space for new possibilities, improve our mind-body well-being, and commit to transforming patterns that no longer serve into a more compassionate, present, and nurturing lifestyle.
Week 1: Theme | Ground
Becoming more mindful of our current way of being, setting intentions for our 30 day journey, getting honest and real about our goals, grounding into our bodies, and tuning into our deep inner-listening skills.
Week 2: Theme | Empower
Developing inner and outer strength, igniting our creativity, playfulness, and motivation, strengthening our willpower and commitment, recognizing old patterns and beginning to shift them in order to reveal a renewed sense of direction, clarity, and focus.
Week 3: Theme | Compassion
Commitment to practicing self-love, acceptance, and loving-kindness, softening our judgments, choosing love over fear, and fueling our practice and lives with care for ourselves and others.
Week 4: Theme | Affirm
Choosing to live each day with more truthfulness and awareness, practicing wise and mindful speech, observing and encouraging wise/mindful thought.
Week 5: Theme | Thrive
Believing in our own intuition and radiance, developing a plan and process to implement for the rest of the year (and the rest of our lives), reaffirming our commitment to this journey, to learning, and to shining our brightest.

Naushon Kabat-Zinn has been studying yoga since she was a teenager. Her challenging, yet compassionate, Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a wonderful way to cultivate strength, serenity, flexibility and balance. Inspired by her studies with Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, Baba Hari Dass, and the teachings of Vipassana (Insight) Meditation, Naushon’s straightforward, authentic, and inspirational style emphasizes the linking of movement with breath, cultivating our ability to be more fully present and awake in our lives, and navigate the challenges that arise with more grace and kindness.
“I have been teaching yoga for the past 18 years. For me, yoga is life-saving. It grounds me when I feel disconnected, overwhelmed, and stressed out, and gets me back in my body when I feel stuck in my head. But mainly, yoga gives me perspective, reminding me to wake up and enjoy this beautiful life that I have been gifted…and realize that this moment, right now, is enough.”
