It is indeed sad news. Namaste will continue holding classes virtually until June 14, 2020.
Why are you closing?
We realized that the economic realities of the COVID-19 shutdown are not sustainable. We are unable to operate running the business under current conditions while losing money every month. With social distancing and new regulations and requirements, we will be unable to return to a regular studio environment and do not foresee being able to financially sustain under those conditions.
Is there any way I can help / can we try to raise money for Namaste?
We appreciate that the community may want to help Namaste to remain open but even with donations, we do not foresee a short- or long-term solution for keeping our doors open. We would love to hear your stories and well wishes. Emails can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I still have classes on my pass. Can I get a refund?
If you have an outstanding class pass or classes related to a Membership, you may use them for our online classes – which will continue through June 14, 2020. We are unfortunately unable to provide refunds.
I have a gift certificate — can I use it?
Yes, you may use your gift certificates towards the purchase of yoga classes.
I am a Member; will my Membership be cancelled automatically?
Yes, all Membership autopays will be cancelled as of May 13, 2020. Class passes and Memberships may be used for online classes through June 14, 2020. If you have a Membership that is set to end in the coming days and want to continue for another month, send your request to us at email@example.com.
How do I stay in touch with my teacher?
Please continue to study with your favorite teachers! Most of our teachers have their own websites and mailings lists. You can find teacher contact information listed within bios on our Teacher Team page.
Is Namaste, or any of Namaste assets, for sale?

Are you going to have a sale of all the retail merchandise? What are you doing with the props?
We are awaiting instructions regarding shelter in place. If restrictions are lifted, we will let people know when items will be available for sale.
Are you selling your furniture / fixtures / retail?
We will be shutting down operations over the coming month and selling some furniture and fixtures. You may email email@example.com with any specific requests.
I think I left something at the studio, how do I retrieve it?
